first off, hope you all got a glimpse of the spectacular full lunar eclipse that took place across the greater part of the western hemisphere this evening. it's was quite a sight... even our lovely home of san francisco parted it's usual curtain of clouds to indulge us for a moment.
we have all sorts of exciting things to look forward to at the moment)))
*our new full-length "Memory Drawings" is slated for release april 8th on the beloved temporary residence records. it will be available in both CD and gatefold 2xLP formats - the LP will include a bonus track titled "years gone by" and a limited pressing of color-vinly will be available for those that act fast. visit the fine folks at five roses press for a sneak preview of the track "uncanny valley" from the record.
*we'll be touring europe in it's support this may with a handful of dates in germany, poland, austria, holland, france, and ending our travels last but not least with a couple UK show's and a date at the esteemed All Tomorrow's Parties Festival curated by our friends Explosions In The Sky. the line-up is insane and we expect to be amazed and bewildered. hope to see some of you out there! please stop by our website or myspace page for up-to-date listings of shows.
*there's a record release show this april in the works for you city kids near us so please stay tuned. we'll also be playing a small two day festival in march called "The West Without A Word" down in L.A. put together by the post-rock website The Silent Ballet. it's been a while since we've been down there and we're really looking forward to it!
